The second quarter of 2022 saw significant activity among fast food and fast casual restaurant apps on the Android platform in Latin America. Here’s a closer look at the performance trends of the top 5 apps in this category:

McDonald's Offers and Delivery had a notable presence throughout Q2. Weekly downloads reached a peak of approximately 231K in the week of May 23, while weekly active users fluctuated, peaking at around 2.2M in the week of June 6. Despite these fluctuations, the app maintained a strong user base with weekly active users hovering around the 2M mark for most of the quarter.

Burger King Brasil experienced a significant spike in weekly downloads, reaching approximately 131K in the week of May 23. Active users also showed a positive trend, peaking at around 493K during the same week. The app sustained a healthy level of engagement, with active users consistently above 370K.

Habib's: Descontos e Delivery showed a varied trend in weekly downloads, with a high of approximately 70K at the end of March, before stabilizing around 45K in the latter part of the quarter. Active users saw a slight decline from around 173K at the beginning of the quarter to about 149K by the end of June.

Mostaza saw its weekly downloads peak at approximately 53K in the week of May 23. Active users also showed growth, peaking at around 93K during the same week. Despite a dip in mid-quarter, the app managed to maintain a stable user engagement with active users around the 59K mark by the end of June.

KFC APP - Ec, Co, Cl, Ar y Ve maintained a steady number of weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 34K in the final week of June. Active users saw a consistent increase throughout the quarter, reaching a peak of around 272K in the last week of June, demonstrating sustained user interest and engagement.
